What does it do?
FTB8900 is a memory management program for the Yaesu FT-8900R transceiver.
It enables you to:
backup/restore the cloneable memory
modify memory definitions
add and delete memory definitions
sort memories by frequency or name
analyse and report on duplicate frequencies
edit the PMS memories
edit the Hypermemory VFOs
edit the Home memories
edit the FT-8900's Menu settings
edit menu items 2, 4, 12, 26, 27, 35, 42 and 46 in the Hypermemories
The Import/Export facility enables you to exchange memory information between the following radios:
FT-817, FT-847, FT-857, FT-897 (including ND and D models) - using FTBasicMMO
FT-1802, FT-1807, FT-2800, FT-7800, FT-8800, FT-8900 - using FTB1802, FTB1807, FTB2800, FTB7800, FTB8800 and FTB8900
FT-60 - using this program, FTB60
VR-5000 - using FTBVR5K
VX-3 - using FTBVX3
VX-110, VX-150 - using FTB1050
VX-120, VX-170 - using FTB2070
VX-177 - using FTB177
VX-2, VX-5, VX-6, VX-7 - using the Commander range of software by Jim Mitchell, KC8UNJ
Memory definitions can also be imported from TravelPlus for Repeaters using .TPE files
Sample memories files are provided so that you may explore the editing facilities available without having a radio or cable to connect to your PC.
