   Exit End the program

Edit

   Add frequency to grid  Add the current frequency details to the start of Memory Grid with a description of 'Added using F4'. To invoke this command from the keyboard press F4 while the main screen has the focus. The Memory Grid will be opened automatically and all filters cleared.

Tools

   Convert freq files... Display the screen to convert frequency files for Kenwood rigs and the ARRL TravelPlus for Repeaters

   Clone Display the screen to allow memory management of the FT-817, FT-847 and FT-897 transceivers

   Reset Memory Grid Position
 Forces the Memory Grid to show at the top left hand side of the screen. Use this command if you click the Mem Grid button and you cannot see the memory grid because it has been moved off the desktop.

Options

   Settings... Display the Settings screen

   AGC Monitor FT-817 only - enable/disable AGC status monitoring

   Raise RTS Raise the RS232 Request To Send (RTS) pin. Some rig to PC level converter designs take power from the RTS pin. The Yaesu CT-62 does not require this option to be set.

   Raise DTR Raise the RS232 Data Terminal Ready (DTR) pin. Some rig to PC level converter designs take power from the DTR pin. The Yaesu CT-62 does not require this option to be set.

   Link RTS to TX state Raise the RS232 Request To Send (RTS) pin whenever the rig transmits.

   Polling

      Update now F3 Update the program with the current state of the rig. Function key 3 will also invoke this command. If the program has been set to not poll the rig for status (No polling has been selected), then use this command to refresh the displayed status.

      No polling Do not poll the rig for the current status. Some rigs mute the audio when communicating with the PC. Turning off polling or polling at a slow interval minimises the interference.

      Fast polling Polls the rig repeatedly for the current status. See the 'Talk speed' command and the Communication Delays for further control of the rate of communication with the rig.

      .2 Secs (etc) Poll the rig at the selected rate.

   Hang delay

      2 Secs (etc) Used when scanning.  The time to hold on a channel when a stop condition has been found.  The scan will automatically resume when this time has expired, unless the Hold button or Resume button is clicked.

      Permanent Used when scanning.  The scan will not resume when a stop condition has been found.

   Hang delay starts on signal loss     With this option set the delay to resume scanning does not commence until the signal has been lost. This enables short pauses in the conversation to not resume scanning.

Talk speed The rate at which the program talks to the rig. This is not related to the communications speed, and may be safely set to Fastest with today's modern PCs.

   Scan speed The rate at which scanning is performed. If you get too many false stop conditions it may be necessare to reduce this rate if you cannot cure them by adjusting the S-meter delay

   Xverter on Turns on/off the transverter display window.

   Memory tag on Turns on/off the memory tag display window

Clickset

   Set Set the clickset memories 1 to 12

      Set M1...M12 Set M1...M12 (SHIFT+F1...F12)

   GoTo GoTo clickset memory 1 to 12

      GoTo M1...M12 GoTo M1...M12 (CTRL+F1...F12)

Scan

   Start Start scanning (CTRL+S)

   Stop Stop scanning (CTRL+T)

   Hold Hold scanning (CTRL+H)

   Resume Resume scanning (CTRL+R)
