Evaluation

During evaluation, with the exception of being able to read and write directly to a rig, FTBasic V2 operates for 21 days from the date first run. The program will then cease to operate until it has been registered.

Technical support is available by post or email during an evaluation period. Refer to the first page of this guide for the addresses.

If the first digit of the version number matches with that of a previously registered version of FTBasic already licensed on your machine then these restrictions do not apply and the previously supplied user name and registration number will work with the new version: i.e. upgrading from V1.1 to V1.2 works OK, but from V1.any_number to V2.any_number does not.

Any existing user who acquired a V1 license for FTBasic after 1st January 2002 may request a free upgrade to V2 by sending an email or letter to the author at the address on the first page of this guide..
