Making a backup image of the VR-5000

To make a backup image of the VR-5000 click the 'Read VR5000' button. The following screen is shown:

Power off the VR-5000 and then click OK. The following screen is shown:

The program is now waiting for you to power on the VR-5000. Power on the rig. The following screen is shown:

Check that the VR-5000 shows CLONE MASTER, then press the COPY(REC) button on the rig. The screen should change to:

Wait for the process to complete. When complete the screen changes to:

The VR-5000 screen should show CLONE MASTER, with COMPLETE on the second line.
Click OK. The screen should now display the memory contents.
Power off, then power on the VR-5000.

To save to disk click the Write Disk File button. The following Save As dialog box should be shown.

Assign a file name and save in the normal Windows manner.
