Program Menus
File
Open Open a memory file.
Print Print either the general memories, bank details or PMS details to the default printer (shortcut keys CTRL + P). The tab that is currently showing determines which item is printed.
Exit End the program
Memories Note: The Memories menu is also shown as a pop-up by right-clicking on the memories grid.
Copy Copy the selected cells to the Windows clipboard for pasting into another program
Insert memory above Insert a new memory above the one selected
Insert memory below Insert a new memory below the one selected
Mask memory Mask the selected memory. The memory is highlighted in red. A masked memory is not shown when operating in memory mode, but the definition is retained and may be restored to use by using the Unmask memory command.
Un-mask memory Un-mask the selected memory. The red highlight is removed, and the memory will be shown when operating in memory mode.
Delete memory The selected memory is permanently deleted.
Sort by frequency Sort the memories by frequency within each bank.
Sort by name Sort the memories by name within each bank.
Find duplicate frequencies Display which frequencies are duplicated elsewhere.
Find text Find a text string in the memories grid. Case is ignored.
Find next Find the next occurence of the Find text command
Banks
Add Bank Add a new bank entry. A new memory is added at the same time because every bank must have at least 1 memory.
PMS
Add PMS Add a new PMS entry.
Mask PMS Mask a PMS entry. The entry is highlighted in red. A masked PMS entry is not shown when operating in PMS mode, but the definition is retained and may be restored to use by using the Unmask PMS command.
Un-mask PMS Un-mask the selected PMS entry. The red highlighting is removed, and the entry will be shown when operating in PMS mode.
Settings
COM Port Allows you to select COM1 to COM16
COM Speed Allows you to select 4800, 9600 or 57600 baud.
57600 may not work on your receiver.
Automatically adjust mode and tuning step When ticked will automatically choose the mode and step for VFO A whenever you change the frequency. The rig's Auto Mode Preset Operating Parameters can be seen in the back of your Operating Manual.
Autosize columns If ticked will reduce column widths to try and keep all items on the screen
Show darker grid lines When ticked shows darker grid lines.
Choose a folder for memory and .CSV files... Displays a folder browse dialog to permit choosing which folder to use for storing memory and .CSV files.
Window position
Save size and position Save the size and position of the main window.
Force windows onto the primary desktop Forces all windows to appear on the desktop. If you have multiple monitors then the windows will appear on the screen that has co-ordinates 0,0 at the top left. This enables you to re-position windows that may have disappeared if the desktop configuration has changed. The keyboard shortcut for this command is Shift+Ctrl+F1
