Modifying configuration settings

Whenever a memory image has been loaded into the program, either from disk or directly from the VR-5000, there is an extra tab shown called Set Config.

Clicking on this tab will show you the values currently assigned to the Set Config menus for this particular memory image.

To modify these values using the receiver you press the F button on the receiver followed by the [ENT(SET)] button.

The program enables you to make these same changes by choosing values from drop-down boxes instead of pressing button sequences and turning the dial knob.

In addition, you can discover a forgotten password for the dial and keys locking facility.

When the memory image is initially loaded the Set Config tab becomes available. No tab is shown if nothing is loaded.

Make changes as required, using the drop-down boxes.

If you want to return to default start-up values click the 'Change all settings to the default values' button.

If you want to return to the settings in effect when you loaded the image, click another tab (e.g. Memories), then click again on the Set Config tab. This ONLY works if you have not yet clicked the 'OK - Apply all changes made' button.

When you are satisfied with your changes, click the 'OK - Apply all changes made' button. The next time you load the image back into the rig they will take effect.
